Description

At the Faculty of HS, there is an administrative department with about sixty employees who work with administrative support for education and research.

As an employee in the administrative department, you will be placed in one of the faculty's seven departments and work closely with teachers, researchers, and other administrative colleagues.

With us, you will be part of a large group of colleagues where the age range is broad and the knowledge is extensive. Here, you will be challenged and developed while making a difference for the future of education and research.

We are now looking for a new employee at 100% who will primarily work with educational administration within a department.

Responsibilities

The tasks mainly consist of educational administration, which includes providing information to students, handling reserve admissions, registration, and managing exams and theses. In other words, you will ensure that much of the practical aspects of education function, making your role very important. In addition, other administrative support for teachers and researchers is included.

Since the administrative department is tasked with supporting all activities within the faculty, it may also involve administrative tasks in other areas of the faculty's operations as needed. The work is performed in close collaboration with the program director, teachers, other faculty administrators within the department, the head of department, and other staff at the faculty.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • higher education or equivalent experience.
  • previous experience of qualified administrative work, preferably within an educational or research environment.
  • good language skills in Swedish and English.

As a person, you are a team player who prioritizes the best interests of the organization and the university. You are flexible, outgoing, and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with both colleagues and students. A prerequisite for maintaining a good service level and performing your tasks successfully is that you are structured, meticulous, and self-driven with the ability to take your own initiatives.

As there are often many ongoing processes and sometimes high workloads, it is important that you can prioritize among your tasks and, when needed, ask colleagues for help. You have the ability to work systematically and efficiently in digital environments and quickly take on new systems, routines, and tasks. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Conditions

The employment is permanent at 100%. Start date by agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period.

Application

You apply in the university's web-based recruitment tool Varbi. You are responsible for ensuring that the application is complete in accordance with the advertisement, that any documents in languages other than Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or English are translated, and that your qualifications are documented in a way that allows for a factual, qualitative assessment. A complete application must be submitted by the end of the application period. An incomplete application may result in your qualifications not being assessed in all respects.

The application should include:

  • CV
  • Cover letter describing your qualifications in relation to the tasks
  • Copies of relevant grades, diplomas, and certificates
  • Statement of language skills

All documents you wish to be part of your application should be attached to the digital application. Name each uploaded document so that it clearly indicates its content.

Application deadline: 2026-02-03

Please reference number: REK2026/3
